This looks too clean to be real, especially considering all the frog fossils I see are of bones only. 

If this isn't a natural formation, how in the heck was this done? Cause it looks like real rock at the very least to me, and the negative impression itself does look natural(the edges of the frog features look weathered), apart from the incredible detail. 

Sorry if this is obviously fake, I don't think I've ever looked at more than a couple fossils in my entire life :/

I think this is an art project (an interesting one). A fossil frog would not preserve flesh, but would appear as bones.

You are correct, ... This is a total fake. 

They press a mold into some material, clay or plaster of paris, and let it harden or bake it.

I had a feeling it was fake considering I couldn't find a single frog fossil even remotely similar, but my buddy was pretty adamant he had something special lol.
