Thanks, very interesting topic.

 I did some reading and it seems to be some debate as to where  these creatures belong. (Transitionalperiod...have to do more reading.)

 I looked at the other pic in the above post . Would you say these teeth are from the same type animal? ...

But one could not rule out staurikosaurus right? Just not enough to go on at the current time.

I think you can rule it out.  I dont believe this morphology is dinosaurian but archosaurian, could be wrong.

 

  In addition the known facts:

 

1) Staurikosaurus is only known from Brazil,  not North America 

2) Is only known from late-Carnian and early-Norian age deposits.  Bull Canyon Fm is younger in age, middle Norian

3) Staurikosaurus is a very small dinosaur with a small skull.  My sense is that this size tooth would be too large.
