DPS Ammonite
Interesting. It reminds me of a recent paper by Dr. Suess (pronounced “zoice”) about a Paleozoic lagerstatte preserved by Oklahoma oil. Oil of Okla proven to work better than Oil of Olay when it comes to preserving organic matter. https://www.researchgate.net/publication/260173619_The_Buckhorn_Asphalt_deposit_-_An_unique_fossil_Lagerstatte_from_the_Pennsylvanian_of_Oklahoma 1 My goal is to leave no stone or fossil unturned.
