hantre05
I was wondering through a beautiful moss covered forest in central Wisconsin(waupaca county) the other day and was walking though the creek picking up rocks that I thought looked neat. That’s when I came across this. One guy told me he thinks it’s some kind of clam from the Silurian period but it’s also covered in other fossils. Thanks! P.s. I’m sorry I had to hold them and get my fingers in the pictures, their was no other options.
connorp
Welcome to the forum. Your pictures are not super clear so it's hard to tell. I see at least what looks like a fragment of a brachiopod.
Rockwood
I agree that the most recognizable shape, with a corrugated look, is likely a brachiopod. The one that is shaped more like an ear is likely a bivalve (clam), and the whole thing is made up of less recognizable fragments of fossils. In the Paleozoic brachiopods were a much greater percentage of the shellfish fauna, as bivalves are today.
