I cannot prep this Lower Oxford Clay bivalve beyond what you see as its in quite a fragile state, I’ve identified it as a species of Meleagrinella would you agree @oxford clay keith

The bivalve now confirmed as Meleagrinella braamburiensis  and as suggested can't do any more prep than I already have - this species has calcite rather than aragonite shell, which is thin and fragile, and has a tendency to flake off when it dries out. So I've  coated it with a thin paraloid solution which will keep it together.
