How big do fossil crabs get? Some large Tumidos

Sorry you missed out Ron, guess arriving after is better than being there during! 

 

The crab is very impressive in person and it was nice to see a replica. interested to know if they still have the mold. I’d live one too!

 

How big is your big boy?

The carapace is 20cm

And you can see the end of the ruler at the bottom right (30cm)

wow... was it already 11 years ago you went to NZ?  I remember it like it was only ten years ago.

 

These are some pretty impressive crabs on this page.  I have some really small ones from France I collected with caterpillar 6 yrs ago.
