Trying to identify this rock.

I found this rock this morning in Marysville, CA. On the property that o am a caretaker for. I think it's beautiful. It is covered in the swirls, etc. That you see in the picture. Thank you for your help identifying this rock and I appreciate it.

Looks to be a hash of shells such as brachiopods. Without in situ provenance, it may not be possible to determine anything further.  I'm not sure what "Ng" means in your topic title.

Could be a bivalve coquina.

Good call. I favour bivalves over brachs with this piece.

The Ng is a typo. My apologies. I wanted it to read "trying to identify..."

  • Kane changed the title to Trying to identify this rock.

What typo? I see no typo here. :ninja: :D
