Fossil Hunt in 100 Degree Heat without any shade in Mississippi today.

It was crazy hot, and humid today.  I could only stand it, for a little while.  I kept these; and I donated the rest to a 69 year old, first time fossil hunter.  The white bone, is modern.

That is pretty rewarding   !!!   I would be 'influenced" to stay too long if I saw that many cusps... We were balmy here in Florida,  99 outside and 95 in the shade... Time for a cool drink

I got way too hot.  It was ridiculous, but when I heard that someone else who was 16 years older than me wanted to go do it; I just had to man up, I guess.  Glad I went, but it was too hot.

And here we are in southern Germany with rain and temps in the 60s. I'd give you half of my weather and take the other half of yours

Hey, I'll take temps in the 60s any day.  The rain has to skip a day, eventually.
