blackmoth
some one found this in a cornfield. I believe it is burried in late Triassic or early Jurassic stratum red clay. So far I have found time only to remove some clay to expose some structure. Some one said it could be the sacrum of some vertebrate. Any clues? 7c35ee51f33f41262f21dc157ca6a037.mp4 4983c25394cfaf4c02879a056cc827e6.mp4 Edited August 22 by blackmoth typo
Coco
I am sorry, but I don't see a form of sacrum here. I’m not even sure it’s bone. Let’s wait for more advice. Coco
Rockwood
Doesn't look like bone to me.
digit
Agreed that there does not seem to be any bone texture on this one and the shape (while vaguely resembling a sacrum) is not consistent with an actual sacrum. Looks like another of nature's rocks trying to mimic a fossil. Cheers. -Ken
