Hi, I live near the Kent coast (UK), an area of which is good for shark-teeth hunting. I'm not so experienced with identifying anything else though! I found this today; any ideas? Thank you!

What is the size of this item?

Can we get pictures of the sides, top down, bottom up as well?

Preferably with a ruler of some sort,  for scale.

Small fragment of a tooth in a bit of jaw bone ?

The tooth is reminiscent of a Stingray tooth.... That is NOT to say I think it is a Stingray tooth, just that it might be from a fish using it to crush small sealife shell .

Thanks... I think they are stingray teeth.

Nope. Rays wouldn't have bone like this in their jaws. I think perhaps we need to go a different direction. Mammoth molar. Maybe ? :)

Thanks for the additional pictures.   :)

My guess would be some sort of fish jaw section and crushing tooth, but I am unfamiliar with this item.
