I originally took this photo of the dead Northern Gannet and only just looked back on it to see the seemingly huge shark tooth lodged in the rock by my foot. TqB Posted August 22 Share Posted August 22 Welcome to the forum. I'm not sure what it is but it won't be a shark tooth. From there, that's probably a piece of Carboniferous limestone so it could be chert nodule. Although teeth from shark relatives may occur, they're nothing like that and very much smaller.
