Jon27Thomas
This was found on the Missouri River. It doesn’t look like anything els in my collection. Maybe it’s a baby pronghorn or a domesticated goat?
Fossildude19
Looks recent, and not a fossil.
Jon27Thomas
That’s definitely possible. In this area I’ve found mammoth bones that are lightly mineralized and cow bones that are basically rock so I’m never quite sure what to think. Plus most of the stuff I find comes from local rivers so the sediment layers don’t help ether.
Brandy Cole
I think relatively modern goat is the most likely suspect here.
