Hello, I'm looking to purchase some more specimens and was really curious about this one. It is supposedly placochelys from China and Triassic. The price just seems way too low for a specimen such as this. All help is appreciated.

Tidgy is quite offended by those.

"Artwork", and not particularly good "art" for that matter.  Completely human made.

"The Lying Stones of Marrakech", by Stephen Jay Gould, is a good expose on this sort of fabrication.

Except that it describes Moroccan fakes and art, this one is Chinese art work.

Yeah, Moroccan ones are generally a much better class of fakery these days.

Should I report this person for selling fakes as real?

No one cares about fake fossils, especially not the auction site (as long as they make profit from the sale).

But try to sell a fake Picasso picture!

Why did they put the hips outside of the shell? It's like they didn't even look at real fossils before they made these.
