SE Texas - Deer proximal phalanx?

I found this yesterday on a river gravel bank. It's completely mineralized and I think after looking online that it is a deer proximal phalanx? It's in nice condition... couldn't believe after all the busted up pieces I usually find. 

Size is 1.8 inches.
