Bobby Rico
Ok please wait for other as I am not a shark person and there are many members here that will not better. I will give it a go and this is my first time ID a shark tooth on here . I guessing it is a Hypotodus verticalis. Anyway nice find cheers Bobby Edited September 13 by Bobby Rico

bthemoose
What is the size of the tooth (photos next to a ruler are helpful) and can you also provide photos of the other side of the tooth and looking at the tooth along its edge to get a better sense of the shape of the root? I.e., all of these views (photo from elasmo.com) would be helpful:
Al Dente
I believe Jaekelotodus trigonalis can be found at that beach. I think that is a good possibility for this tooth. 2
Bobby Rico
Just saying Hypotodus verticalis is also found at Solent beach.
PeterD
Hi Not quite the same quality of picture as bthemoose but a bit better than my first attempt.
bthemoose
The new photos are helpful! I agree with @Al Dente’s suggestion of Jaekelotodus.
PeterD
Thank you all for your responses I have another tooth that was found on the same beach, any chance you could have a go at this one too?
bthemoose
Looks like a sand tiger, though perhaps too worn for a more specific ID.
