Shark Tooth ID - Canterbury NZ

Recommended Posts

Hey all

Someone I talk to online has found a really good spot to hunt for fossils, he is based in Canterbury, New Zealand and he believes the formation is around 34 million years old.

He's found many shark teeth at this spot and this tooth is causing some ID issues.

Can anyone shed some light?

Probably not complete enough for an accurate ID.
