It appears like they loaded, they are there when I open this thread.  Not sure what I am doing wrong.

you need to download the pics to the forum, not a link to dropbox.

So I did not load my pictures properly in my first post so I created another and hopefully got it right.  I found this on a hillside near the Wenatchee area while looking for quartz.  It is a very curios piece and to me looks like a broken off tooth.  The surface appears worn away on one edge, grooved on the end and also appear to have a cavity where a nerve or vessel may have been.  Or maybe I just want it to be a fossilized tooth really bad.   I would appreciate if anyone can help me identify what it could be.  The piece is 2 inches long, 1.5 inches wide and just over a 1/2 inch thick.

Another case of unfortunately just a rock.

Looking at the 2nd pic, I'd say this is part of an oddly shaped geode. I'm seeing layers of agate (almost a waterline agate) with a small crystal lined void. The brownish staining would be due to iron oxide (rust).

I think this is the case. :(

It’s certainly not a tooth, but it could be a worthy addition to the “cool rock shelf”.

No enamel present. No root or bone textures present. No tooth morphology present.

Interesting looking rock, but nothing more.  Sorry.

Thank you all for your expertise but I have to say my grand daughter is going to be pretty disappointed!  We like cool rocks too though!  Happy hunting!
