A Silurian straight shelled cephalopod shell found in the Fossil Hill formation. One of my favourite fossils. However, I can't find it in any of my identification books so if anyone can help me id it that would be great.

Yes, that is colour banding or I'm a budgie's cousin.
I do agree that it looks more like a bivalve than a brachiopod.
Extraordinary find.
