Chinese Middle Ordovician ammonoid - Lituites lituus.

Purchased in Bar Harbor, ME.

I don't usually buy fossils, but I don't normally get to collect ammonites/ammonoids, personally, and the price was right!

I felt that this might benefit from some prep work.

I plan to use air abrasives to try to clean it up a bit.
