One of my favorite ammonite forms.... Nice shell...

Me too. I picked it out of a box of unprepared fossils at the fossil show in Stuttgart last weekend. The matrix was extremely sticky, which accounts for the scratches. I've got another one to work on from the same site, a Prodactylioceras, where I think I'll invest a bit more time using potassium hydroxide on it.
