All found along the Rideau River. Not pictured are the Ottawa River finds where the trilobites have a distinctive whitish-yellow patina in a brown shale matrix. We didn't bring any tools (we took the train), but the missus - who is to be credited as the shutter bug in all these images - very nearly convinced me to go to the nearest hardware store.

Those Pseudogygites are pretty cool. :)

It looks like a kind of headstone. I just wish I could have brought it home, but we were going there and back by train :(

Photos don't take up nearly as much room as slabs of rock. ;) 

Am I seeing lots of cephalopods on there, as well?

Oh yeah, plenty of nautiloids in the mix! I didn't give them any billing because they weren't coming up all glittery and pyritized as I used to find just a few streets over where I used to live near Strathcona Park. The road works on my street would toss up some beauties - none of which I have now :(
