Knightia eocaena - 18 inch layer.
Another bargain from our favorite auction site.
I didn't have any fish from the 18 inch layer, and the price was right.
It is also exceptionally preserved, with all fins present.
Knightia eocaena
Green River Formation, Eocene.
Wyoming.
Fish is 4 inches (10 cm) in length.
