This is the upper carnassial of a clouded leopard. Clouded leopards are quite small animals compared to large felids like tigers. In this fauna, the other felid of the same size was Catopuma, the Asian golden cat, which belongs to Felinae (sensu stricto). Differences between the P4s of these two genera is that the crown base of the clouded leopard's P4 has a little dent and the protocone protrudes outward just by a little bit, while Catopuma has neither of these two characteristics.
