I have collected the teeth of 14 species from this fauna as of December 8th, 2024, filling almost every ecological niche.
These niches include:
-
Medium-sized herbivores like tapirs to large ones like the Chinese rhinos and Stegodons
- I would collect smaller herbivores like deer just to fill the niche but sometimes it's hard to tell their age since they persisted after the Pleistocene. Also, I'm just not too interested in these species
- Medium to large omnivores like pigs, bears, and pandas (of which I have collected every upper cheek tooth position)
- Small carnivoran but I only have the red fox. I'd like more fill this niche a bit more.
- Large carnivorans like the clouded leopard, the spotted hyena, and the tiger.

Primate
s! Currently, I only have an Orangutan molar. One day I'll obtain the elusive and insanely expensive Gigantopithecus...
I might also get myself a Rodentia member or two. Not too keen on those though.

Thanks to my mom for taking the pictures, measuring, and inlaying these teeth into the sponge cushion:)
