pretty! I rarely see photos of raccoon fossils because it was introduced unnaturally into Europe during historical times. These were individuals who escaped from captivity and acclimatized in Europe. most raccoons are in Germany.

I have also heard of 'racoon dogs' that were introduced into Europe from Asia.  They look interesting, and bear closer skeletal similarities to the American grey fox, rather than the good old raccoon.

Yes. I saw dead raccoon dog in Romania street.
