From the same location than the added track of Varanopsis comes this special fossil. It is not a vertebrate fossil, but this was a short moment in upper permian life when water comes to help the animals to survive. These imprints are interpreted as raindrop-imprints, spectacular in my opinion. Autun, Lodeve / Herault, France

a nice left foot imprint of a hugh Synapsid reptile. Comes from lower permian, Autun, of Lodeve in France. Well prepared imprint of 4 fingers with their phalange bones
