Statigraphy:  Pinecrest Sand Member of the Tamiami Formation

Location:  Quality Aggregates, Sarasota County, Florida USA.

Status: Extant

 

Notes:  Its common name is the Ribbed Cantharus and not an uncommon find in Florida beach drift.
