Hi ! So I've found on the beach in french Brittany thousands of those stones (fossiles ? Thingies ?). I started to search the internet to ID them and I stumbled across this website via this post : So basically they look a lot like wormcast you typically see on a beach but they are solid and look like limestone. I don't know much about fossils so I can't really tell but they definitely feel like limestone and other fossiles I've found before. Another information that might help with ID is that basically I found them amongst litterally thousands of those but there was no other place were I could find such things anywhere else on the beach. They were in a place with a lot of other seashells, covering an area of maybe 2m² . I find all of this very intriguing. Do any of you have an idea of what it is ? Have a good day

Some goodies from the last few monthes (Trilobites heavy topic)

Hi all, I have been more or less away from the forum for the last few monthes. Life has been hectic. And if i still managed to go on the field quite a lot, i did have any time left for the rest (writing, taking photos, processing stuff, labelling etc). Nevertheless, i finally manage a quick photo session. As an appetizer, what is prolly the best piece for quite some time. A double trilo, Eodalmanitina sp, one preserved with his caudal spine. So 2 rocks as a starter . I had to sacrifice part of the 2 counterprints, to unveil the opposite trilo... Regards.

Edited : back then i wrongly ided the specimen. Not a Neseuretus, rather a colpocoryphe. That's always happening to me when processing older stuff... Hi all, Now and then we read topics about trilobites molting. While processing my trilos and entering them to my database, i noticed i never posted this one on TFF (or anywhere by the way). Some might find this one interesting (i do). So, here it is :Colpocoryphe rouaulti 's molting : you can see it got 2 bodies, the main one (old one) on the right and the new one attached to the head part.
