Hello! Back logged on things I cant ID so let's start with this beast of a fragmented tooth.(about a inch and a half) Thank you all .

10cm in length, it is the biggest Cardium fossil I ever found (from a total of more than a thousand in the same area). In the 2nd picture you can see Calcite crystals below the same fossil.. Attika, Greece, Zanclean era -
This is the first fossil I ever found. I found it when I was 10 years old. It was at a construction site on the southwest side of Milwaukee. They were digging the basements for a few houses next to ours. I believe this Trilobite is sitting on her nest. I have been fossil hunting ever since. I have lot's of fossil's however I think this one is the best of the bunch. I also hunt for Native American artifacts, Points, Gems, Minerals and anything else i can find in or on the ground. I operate Heavy Equipment as part of my career so I get to do a lot of digging, so I get lucky every now and then.

Hey guys, Just bought this set of Trilobites as a gift. There are two halves which split the tree in half horizontally. Not sure if this was on purpose or not, but it seems to be unique -- whether that's a good thing or not. To be honest, I know very little about fossils, but what I was told is that this would usually be fairly expensive, but was damaged in transit, so I got it for seems like a steal. The damage doesn't bother me, because it doesn't touch the fossils. They are each about the size of a man's hand outstretched. From my research, I found that since I can't see the tops of them, I can't really identify them properly myself. I can't tell what their eyes look like, if they have spikes, etc. From what I found, they look most like Proetida or Ptychopariida, but then after looking into those more, I found that those usually only reach 3-6cm on average, while the ones I have are closer to 20cm. So then I was thinking they might be Asaphida, but they don't have the large flat Pygidium that seems typical for them. Now I'm thinking they might be Corynexochida due to their Cephalon shape and the small spikes protruding from the pleural lobes, but of course, since I can't see the tops, this is still hard. I really only have a few hours of research to go on, I'm sure there are some with much more experience in here. Any ideas? Thanks guys! P.S. Anyone know about how much a piece like this would go for undamaged?

I found this in Northwest Georgia on a farm. It appears to be a large smooth snail shell with the snail protruding out, Its very cool I just dont know that much about it. The rock itself appears to be made up of layers and is very heavy, maybe from the cretaceous period which would make it 100 million years old at least, It was under the ground maybe two feet. Id say it ways about 12 pounds, If yall could tell me more about it I would appreciate it. PM me or email me at leviself <AT> att.net

Hi, I'm new to this site, and I would like to say hello to everyone, and start off by showing a tooth found in Northern Arkansas near a cave! We have no idea what animal this could be from, or if it is even a fossil. We thought it was.
