Hi all, having some great finds along this part of the coast, I thought the beaches were getting picked over quite alot but the last three days 27,28,29.03.19 have been realy good, a real assortment of bone ie mammoth toe bone, teeth along with a mammoth partial tooth with root still intact, a first for me, and tusk, I really like the tusk part as its in really good condition, I take photoes of all my days finds so if any one would like to see more I would be pleased to share, thanks for looking. regards to all, AJG

Hi, this is a new thing for me although I do visit the Forum often, my main fossil areas are between Point Clear to Walton on the Naze, yesterday I was in Walton for the first time in many months to look for a few shark teeth, did not find any but did find eight great bit of whale bone, I have found the odd fragment before but this was excellent, today I was on the Holland Haven beaches and came home with a pocket full of various other bone and flint fossils, I have noticed that the shells that were once only found at walton are now also found on the recharged beaches at Clacton and holland, I have attached some photoes for you and hope you will enjoy.
