    Field Collecting Container

Today I picked up this cool, handled container at a local hardware store for I believe $16.00. This will be perfect for me when I collect in Southern Indiana. I can separate the fossils by species as I find them.
  2. MrBones

    Pringle can container

Hello, I am not completely sure if this is the right thread to post this in, but some of you might find this helpful. Eat too many Pringles? Well why not reuse the cans? 1. Find a can, then cut it so that it is a few milimeters deeper than you want the container to be (about 0.5 cm deeper).
  3. Hi everyone, I'm looking for a little advice on how to ship heavy fossils internationally (from the USA to the UK). I thought the forum might be a good place to ask, as quite a few of you may have done this in the past. I have the opportunity to purchase around 500kg (around 1000 pounds) of small fossils from someone in the US. I'm sure I've read members discuss sending fossils back from Tuscon in the past using shipping containers and guess this would probably be the best way to go. Any advice on how this works would be greatly appreciated.
