    Possible snail-Lee Summit MO

Another piece I found in Lee Summit Missouri. I’m not really sure what to think of it other than it’s definitely something. It looks like a snail shell but has little crystals(calcite?) in it. Any information would be helpful
  2. Good evening. Today, I would like to share another collection, a crystallized dinosaur egg. It’s from China. When you use a torch to illuminate inside, you will see a shining picture. If you played a game call Monster Hunter, you will know the feeling. Hope you all enjoy it. Thank you.
  3. Excited fossil finder

Is this considered a bivalve fossil?

Worked out of a very larger piece of material. The same that surrounds it's bottom half. Excavated from backfill dirt used in building a farmhouse approx 1800 in Bleckley co. Ga. U.S.A. The actual mold is 100% some type crystallized formation or fossil. Curious on what it actually is and how old it is. Thank you for any help!

    Petrified wood identification

I believe this is petrified wood. I Found this and a larger piece, but the larger one is a different texture. It's more smooth with dimples and I was able to figure out identification of that one, but I'm not so sure about this one. Any information?
  6. I have several fossils that have crystallized shells. I would like any advice on preparing the fossil without having the crystallized structure disintegrated. See example photo and the crystals structures around the edges of the spiral. Thanks. .
  7. Hey! I found some crystallized dinosaur bones and wood and was wondering what makes them crystallize, and if that makes them worth more?

    Help on Sea Fossils

A customer gave me some neat fossils today, I couldn’t tell ya where they were collected unfortunately. Is the larger one a baculite? No clue on the smaller one. Larger one has crystals inside the fossil, pretty neat. Thanks in advance.

    Unidentified fossil

Hello, I inherited a 3 inch fossil from my father and would love to know what it is. I don't know where this fossil came from but it looks like some kind of barnacle or something similar. It is brown rock on the bottom and crystallized on top. I have attached several pictures and would be really grateful for any information. Thank you!
  12. I am wondering if anybody else has ever come across a fossilized Seabiscuit that is showing some form of crystallization
