Hello, I'm looking at this shark tooth for sale, which is listed as Squalicorax bassani from the Phosphate beds of Morocco (scale in cm). I quite trust the seller and as far as I can tell it looks to be the correct species based on a cursory search. However since I am a complete rookie to teeth and have never bought any before, I wanted to ask for a confirmation on the species, and ask how is the quality? Is it good/medium/bad? The other S. bassani teeth I see don't usually have this reddish brown coloration, rather they are ivory/black and shiny, compared to this one appearing rough and grainy. Any idea why that is? Thanks.

Hello, Firstly, I would like to thank everyone for their continued support in answering questions for someone who has now ventured into fossil hunting and procurement. I purchased the attached ammonite pair some time ago and I would like to get advice on quality and possible additional restoration I can do on my own. I’m not sure if I can get the dull face better polished. I’m also not sure what to do with the external sides. Is this also a very good quality specimen and therefore, I should put further interest in getting the pair in better Condition? That may be a loaded question as it may be simply a matter of opinion but I’m just interested in professionals’ advice.

Greetings kind people, Hope you are having a nice day:) There was a similar thread posted around the same topic, but a lot of those websites could not meet all my requirements so I'm here to seek help I'm looking for websites which are: 1) reliable and reputable 2) very inexpensive 3) ship internationally (particularly India) with good packaging and reasonable prices 4) good quality and vast collection 5) can provide most of my requirements in a single order(since I'll be shipping it to India, it would be economical to order everything from single website to cut down on transportation costs). I'll take down the post in case of violations of the guidelines. Please do let me know. Thanks in advance:)

I recently saw these teeth for sale online. Which of these in everyone’s opinion is of highest quality and easiest to ID? And which are your favourites? Also am I correct when I say the lines on the second tooth are seen in some ceratosaurus teeth? These teeth are from the Lourhina of Portugal.

What is the rarity of it and quality?( common, uncommon, rare, fairly rare, ultra rare or almost never seen) does the broken tip affect this? Thank you.
