Hello, my name is Thomas and I am from the west Texas area, not far from the Red River. I have found what looks like a fossilized tooth, but considering my inexperience, it may be nothing more than agate, or something similar. Any time you afford me in rendering your opinion, I greatly appreciate. So, without further ado, please see the attached images.

We have forty some acres in rural and rugged northeast Texas, bisected by several huge rock bottom creeks. I'll enjoy sharing my finds with everyone, and learning along the way. 4WD country!

I found this a while back, and now I'm wondering if it could be a stromatolite. Though, it could just be some sedimentary formation. It was found in the red river/lake texoma in texas. Any thoughts or insight would be much appreciated, thank you! In the second photo, I sanded a bit of the side to show the layering.

I found these about a week before Christmas in the Duck Creek Formation in Grayson County, Texas, but haven’t had time to post them. I found about 6 of the bigger variety, but only 1 of the smaller more damaged one. I think the larger is a Macraster, but I don’t know the species. I think this is actually my first Macraster. The other one I don’t know the genus. It’s a bit beat up, but I imagine someone can tell me the genus at least. The Macraster I am also curious about the right side dominance, or left dominance when viewed from the bottom side of the urchin. Notice the hump on the left is bigger here on the top left. All 6 echinoids demonstrate it. The other one Anyhelp would be appreciated.

I found this fossil in a gravel bar Nov 27, 2017 south of Boswell, OK. Can anyone tell me what it is? I also, broke it in my pocket, can I super glue it back together? The shotgun shell is a spent 12 ga. 2 3/4 “ so it’s 3 inches long.

Has anybody hunted the Red River on State Highway 6 in between Quanah, TX and Eldorado, OK. Looks like there is access from Google maps. I'm assuming Pleistocene. Seem to be some good sandbars. No canoe or kayak, at least on this exploratory venture.
