Hello Everyone, I'm Ryan. My brothers and I have always enjoyed walking the beaches for sharks teeth where we live, but have been getting into fossil hunting a lot more lately, and I seem to always find myself here whenever I'm scouting for new spots, or trying to get an ID on a find, and figured it was about time I signed up. I'm from North Florida but am currently living in Orlando, which puts me closer to many places like the Peace river which I'm stoked to check out. Attached are some finds from the other day in Jacksonville (ignore the necklace lol it was so my brother had a size comparison). If you know of any spots to hunt near the Orlando area let me know! Thank y'all for reading and I'm glad to be here, Have great days!

Found these three things on the beach over the past couple of days From what I’ve read, the larger tooth looks like a bison tooth. Were they in this area? The shark’s tooth has a grey silver coloration. It looks like there were serrations but they are worn down. The third item may be a rock. I am curious because of the black inclusions. I would love any feedback about these items as I am fairly new at this and I always learn from this site.

Hi. Along with most of the fossils in my collection, this tooth was also found on the beach on the north end of Amelia Island, Florida. I am not having any luck in identifying the shark.

Does anyone have a legit guide for sharks teeth they would like to share? I have thousands and want to organize the mint ones. I've searched online for guides, but there are way too many that are incorrect. I'm spent on searching and would just like something 100% I live in Venice Florida if that helps. Thank you Brandon

Hello everyone, I'm a little out of my element, here. I found a tooth the other day, while rockhounding the Quaternary alluvial deposits of the North shore of Grays Harbor. The tooth is a little tumble worn. I believe it may have had serrations on the edges, but those have since worn off, leaving a worn edge. My guess is Great White, but that is a guess based on the fact I found it in Quaternary sediments. Uneducated otherwise, and maybe some hopeful thinking mixed in. Your thoughts would be appreciated. I understand that sharks teeth in Washington are almost as scarce as hens teeth.... Measurements are in mm. Thanks, Chris
