Fonneren posted a topic in Member Introductions
Hello from Denmark Just a small little "hello" while browsing through the forum, and learn where to post what A life long dino fan, but just recently took the step into fossil collection, and hope to learn and share the road here with you all. Been a toy collectors for years, and toy lines like "Dino Riders" has been a favorite since I got my first piece as a kid. This is a small part of my toy collection, and the old models on the right under the Bronto is from my own childhood = They are priceless for me, and a huge part of what started my love. Have a great weekend, and when I learn where to post what I will show more Regards Henrik -
Hello everyone. I don't quite know if this is quite the right place to ask but I'll give it a shot anyway. I'm thinking of ideas for a 3rd birthday present idea for a little boy in the family. He's a sweet little boy who has just entered the dinosaur phase. You know the one many small children go through. He has dinosaur books and his favourite TV program is now Andys prehistoric adventure :-D (it's a Dino related kids TV show) The other day he was at my parents and he spotted an ammonite I had left behind in their back hall. He knew straight away what it was. Love to hear nay suggests anyone has.

Theres no way I'm the only one, but I think a fossil display with models incorporated take display and immersion to the next level. The creature alongside the evidence it left behind, makes such museum like feel in appearance and enhances the appreciation and wonder. Heres a thread to post any fossils you have on display alongside a model, statue, or toy. Here is a display from my collection of one of my favorite prehistoric creatures postosuchus alongside a giant 10inch+ chirotherium pos/neg footprint.

Building dioramas of past life from Edicaran through Pleistocene for educational dioramas. Can anyone suggest resources for SCALED sets/collections? Hate it when the veloceraptor is the same size as the sauropods. Also, for backgrounds, can anyone suggest current paleo artists that might participate in an educational product?
