Just a little hello. I have been interested in fossils since an early age. I have got a meg tooth that I bought some years ago that renewed my interest. Just taken my second trip across county to try and find some more teeth. I live in Gloucestershire, and took a little trip of 3.5 hours to get to the Naze. One side of the country to another and 181 miles in total. This trip was way more successful so, happy days. Will have to now travel to find more sites where I can hopefully find more.

Hiya, found an odd thing at Walton, originally thought it was a piece of bone but it doesn't seem to have the same texture as my other pieces of bone, so I'm at a loss. Was wondering if it could be a piece of pyritised wood? It seems too weighty to just be a rock. Thanks for any help

Hi All, I recently visited Walton on the Naze and found this...does it look like a fossil? I am not sure if it is anything but it looked interesting so thought I would take it home to have a proper look. hoping to go back and look for more items in the warmer weather. thanks in advance, Gemma

Hi, I found this down on the beach at Walton on the Naze (UK) the other day - not entirely sure what it is, or even whether it's actually a fossil or not - but thought I'd ask if anyone else has any other insight? It appears to be pyritised, but other than that, I don't really have any clues as to what it could be.
