    ID help please

Found this in a gravel deposit on the Brazos River. I'm totally new to this, but I think it's a tooth. Measures 2 1/2" × 1 3/8". Thoughts? EDIT *Sorry if this posted to the wrong place.

    What do I have here

this was found by my brother in San Bernardino Ca. It weighs 5.75 lbs
  4. This is the most incredible piece of amber ever found. its so unbelievable, that nobody takes me serious when i post images of it anywhere. Facebook groups delete it and block me for posting fake fossils. its still attached to about a foot and a half of the original tree that the sap was secreted from. that in itself is very rare and one of a kind. this part that is wood, has high magnetic attraction. the fact that its included with creatures that have never been identified before, neither in amber or out is another unbelievable aspect of this piece. notice the two creatures in blue. bot

    Petrified wood?

Picked this up from the Peace River last week. Started to toss it to the bank thinking - another piece of dugong - then I noticed striations on all sides and both ends. They don't appear to be cross - hatch (Schreger-Patterns) but raised my curiosity to a level that made me keep it in the hopes of an ID. The lines are hard to see in the photos but are dashes (- - - - - - ) in most cases and sometimes form a vee pattern. Any input would be appreciated.

    Tube in rock ID?

Snow is just melting but in the mean time I've split open one of the larger rocks I took home and discovered a new little guy. Probably a twig. If not it could be a tube worm. You can see brachiopods around on this rock, I do know it was a shallow Eocene ocean 50 million years ago. So let me know what you all think. Maybe its just a stick or maybe something more interesting Thanks for you time - John

    Calvert Cliff Iron replaces wood?

I found this yesterday at Matoaka, looks like wood but it is preserved (or dare I say petrified) in iron. Is it wood or geological? Has anyone found something like this at the cliffs before? 2.1 inches height, 2.2 length
