We are having a blast talking shark evolution at the Gateway Science Museum. There are several activities including shark tooth ID, a science experiment involving buoyancy and our evolution station. We call it the Shark Takeover and we do it several times a year. This time we have the microscope out and are showing off our early shark micros !!!!

So so much fun :)

Very nice, your table layout looks super, even a scope for those micro teeth.   Nice work.

Thank you Frank. I LOVED having that scope out today. People got to see the Ordovician denticles and the Devonian teeth up close and then follow the progression of sharks. We only covered up the end of the Cretaceous today too. Some your teeth were front and center in the displays today :)

Thank you very much. The Giant Sawfish rostal teeth were a big hit today.

Reminds me of Calvert’s Sharkfest

I take that as high praise. I can imagine that would be a heck of a program to see.
