Hey everyone, I am curious to see your largest complete sawfish rostral spines, Xiphactinus sp. teeth, and Enchodus sp. teeth. Here are mine:

Oops forgot the rostral spines

Ha! The right one is from the late cretaceous of NC but I had to put it in. Many rostral spines from NJ are broken bad but some of them would have been huge.

Thank you! I have been doing this for awhile, so I suppose the chances of me finding teeth this condition/size increases proportionally. Still great to find them. How common are sawfish rostral spines in Texas? They're fairly common here but easily fractured.

I've only been "actively" hunting for a little over a year, so I haven't found too many. Most big stuff is only partial, and I would say less common. The darned things don't have the best shape to remain in one piece!

Oral teeth on the other hand are abundant.

My largest sawfish tooth is ~1 inch, same with my largest enchodus tooth! I don’t have a Xiphactinus yet, though.

Have so many broken ones that would have been HUGE if they were complete!
