Bob123bob123
Hi, sorry i know nothing about fossils but found this curious round egg-shaped thing inside chalk near Beachy Head, Eastbourne, UK. The nearby clay had some similar round dark brown items inside. Any ideas what this is?
Fossildude19
Welcome to the Forum. Unfortunately, what you have found is actually a geologic formation called a concretion. People mistake them for eggs, all of the time. There are no indications of eggshell material. Have a look through this topic for more information.
