historianmichael
I found this coral several months ago in the Late Mississippian Mauch Chunk Group of West Virginia. I admit that it is a worn example, but it is the only Carboniferous tabulate coral that I have found so far. My initial guess is Michelinia sp. Is there enough there to make an identification? Any help is greatly appreciated! 1 Follow me on Instagram (@fossil_mike) to check out my personal collection of fossils collected and acquired over more than 15 years of fossil hunting! TqB
Michelinia looks spot on, with the characteristic way the tabulae are arranged. 4 Tarquin
