I found this on the shore of Lake Michigan in Long Beach, Indiana– just south of the Michigan border. I have no clue what I am looking at. Any ideas?

I think this might be a horse or cow tooth? 

Definitely mammal.

Definately horse.  Lower molar or premolar.
