Maryland fossil? Maybe tooth?

Live in Southern Maryland. Found this in creek feeding to the Patuxent River. Have no idea if it’s a plant or tooth or tusk of some kind. Also have found many Miocene shark teeth, a wild boar skull from the 1500s, and arrow heads. Thanks for the help

Looks like a tooth, but we need pictures of both ends to make an accurate ID.

your tooth looks like an incisor, most likely from a deer. I’m curious how you know your boar skull is from the 1500s and not some other century?

Well the boar skull my neighbor also found. The time period was a best guess from the Calvert Marine Museum. 1500-1600. But just a guess. Might be from another time period.

It's a Sus scrofa incisor, I believe -- a domestic pig.
