Maria814
Hello! I found this in Fruita, Colorado while doing some remote field work. I have no idea if it’s a rock, bone, or fossil. Was wondering if anyone could help! Thanks!

abyssunder
Hoof core, I agree. Rockwood
To determine if it is a fossil tap it lightly with a spoon. The sound it makes should be high pitched if it is a fossil typical of the area (Jurassic). If it is modern, as I too suspect, it will make a wooden 'tunk' like sound.
