Welcome to the Forum! I live to the west of you in Crossville. There is some good stuff to be found in the Volunteer state.

I'm new to Eastern TN, from SC (meg country). I'd love more education on what Eastern TN has to offer for fossils, and to network with local hunters. Any Facebook groups you'd recommend as well?

Sorry, I can't help, but a very warm welcome to TFF from Morocco.:)

Fruitbat's pdf library may be of use, though, just scroll down til you get to Tennessee.

There is a lot of interesting Paleozoic in eastern Tennessee and adjacent areas of Virginia.  Some Cambrian, lots of Ordovician, a bit of Devonian, and lots of Mississippian and Pennsylvanian, both marine and terrestrial.
