Found in happisburgh today, I was wondering if anyone could tell me what it is? Fossil bone is what I think.

We need more light and closer up photos. Looks most like wood.

 

Where is Happisburgh? Formations in the area might help us give a better ID.

I will take some better photos tomorrow. I thought it may have been wood but it is very dense and heavy, not what you'd expect with wood. Happisburgh is in Norfolk, UK .

It might be mineralized wood. How hard is it? Does a metal knife blade scratch it?

Looks like petrified wood to me. Try this:

It does have some features consistent with petrified wood, but I would like to see pictures of the ends and dry.
