For the last year I have been working on the first part of my 3D animated documentary series about prehistoric Earth. The first episode will take you to Hadean eon 4.6 - 4 billion years ago and tell about the formation of our planet, moon, emergence of water and, finally the first life. The full documentary is pretty much done and is being edited at the moment (voice over, sound effects, etc.). Finally, here is the trailer for Part 1 (everything is CGI and done by me). Not sure yet about distribution methods.

 Anyways, here is the teaser:

Looks interesting. Seems to be a lot of work going into this.

Thank you. Yes, it was quite a bit of work, especially rendering times and finding time to work on it in between commercial jobs.

Wow that’s impressive! What program are you using for the effects? Blender?

Sorry for the late reply, I haven't visited the forum for a while. Actually, I am using a variety of programs: 3ds max, Vue, RealFlow, ZBrush...

The third episode on the Proterozoic is almost done (should be done by this month), the whole 3 parts most likely will be available on Tubi. Also, here is an updated trailer:

Hi,

Nice job. At the end of your video, there’s only the Americas on your planet !

Thank you! Well, at the end I am showing the modern world and zooming in towards the area where I live - Alberta, Canada.
