This is crinoid #2 of 3.  The information I have is as follows.  Topeka Shale, Moline, Kansas, Pennsylvanian.  Your help is greatly apricated.  I have been wondering about this one for 11 years.  I did prep/detail this crinoid.

Indeed.  I'm not so sure that it is a crinoid, but if not, I'd sure like to know what it is as well.  Let's hope someone can ID it.

Agree.  It's identification is kind of like a splinter now, irritating.

Not sure this is crinoidal, I don't see any basal or radial plates on what should be the calyx. It does kinda look like it has branching out arms, perhaps that could be pareidolia on my part? The plates could be weathered away but without holding it, it's hard to tell.

If hunches count it's a taxocrinus, and they would be relatively inconspicuous. The tightly curled arms would difficult to distinguish and prep out.
