New Members Jtob12 Posted December 9, 2019 New Members Posted December 9, 2019 (edited) I found this at North Myrtle Beach in late November 2019 on a day I found 100+ shark teeth including a beautiful 2 1/2 inch great white tooth At first I thought it was a fish vertebrae or something in that ballpark but can’t find anything that matches the description. It looks like it is covered in what I think is matrix but I am just an amateur fossil hunter. Please help, any suggestions will do. thanks! Edited December 9, 2019 by Jtob12 Bad pic

Darktooth Posted December 9, 2019 Posted December 9, 2019 Possibly Shrimp burrow. Looks similar to ones I saw from New Jersey. 1 I like Trilo-butts and I cannot lie.
fifbrindacier Posted December 9, 2019 Posted December 9, 2019 I was also thinking this is an infilled burrow. "On ne voit bien que par le coeur, l'essentiel est invisible pour les yeux." (Antoine de Saint-Exupéry) "We only well see with the heart, the essential is invisible for the eyes." In memory of Doren
